Enhance your confidence and clinical skills in supporting autistic and AuDHD adults with our specialist 1.5-day online training for psychologists, therapists, CBT practitioners, trainee psychologists, and other helping professionals.
Learn how therapy can be adapted to better support autistic and ADHD adults through training that has been co-produced by professionals and neurodivergent people. The content combines clinical expertise, lived experience, and current research to provide practical, neuroaffirmative approaches that can be applied across therapeutic modalities.
This training has been shaped by the insights of neurodivergent members of The Neurodivergent Parent Space community, alongside feedback from previous attendees, helping to ensure that the content remains relevant, practical, and grounded in real-world experiences.
Have you noticed that some of the theories, techniques, or assumptions within traditional therapy training don't always fit the needs of your neurodivergent clients?
Many therapists find themselves questioning why interventions that work well for some clients appear less effective for autistic or ADHD adults. You may feel stuck, uncertain about how best to adapt your approach, or wonder whether therapy is truly meeting your client's needs.
The reality is that many therapeutic models were not originally developed with neurodivergent experiences in mind. Often, it is the approach that needs adapting—not the client.
This practical, evidence-informed training will help you build confidence in delivering genuinely neuroaffirmative therapy. You'll gain a deeper understanding of autistic and ADHD experiences, explore common barriers within traditional therapeutic approaches, and leave with practical adaptations that can be implemented immediately within your existing model of practice.
By the end of the training, you'll feel more equipped to tailor therapy to the individual in front of you, improving engagement, accessibility, and therapeutic outcomes for your neurodivergent clients.
